Physical Disability

Wessmaps Houisng Trust specialises in promoting accessible, adaptable and affordable accomodation for our tenants with physical disabilty. A physical disabilty is one that affects a tenants mobility and/or dexterity. There are many different kinds of disability and a wide variety of circumstances that our tenants experience. As such it is important to Wessmaps Housing Trust that we work with our tenants to provide suitable adaptions that facilitate independent living at home. With Wessmaps Housing Trust Intensive Housing Services we can support our tenents to apply for disabled facilites grants. These grants are used to fund the costs of installation and adaptations to a home, allowing our disabled tenents to live independantly.
